We have two beautiful and comfortable stand alone chalets with each chalet fully equipped with everything needed to satisfy your stay; unlimited wireless broadband, spacious kitchen with full sized refrigerator and all cooking facilities, private ensuite bathrooms with washing machine and great water pressure, all toiletries, a hand picked Sleepyhead Posturepedic mattress with a variety of pillow options, linens, sofa bed all sky tv channels and an apple tv... everything you need to feel at home. Each 1 bedroom Chalet sleeps up to 3 people
We also proudly present Hazel's deluxe European designed, 2 bed Boudoir .that sleeps up to 4. Hazel's Boudoir is everything the Chalets are plus so much more, 2 bedrooms, king size massage bed, luxurious fur throws, white fluffy bathrobes, and additional toiletries all draped in a teal, gold, emerald & black European designed space, Not to mention a a gorgeous private outdoor area with Weber BBQ, brazier & plenty of seating under the festoon lights.
Our most recent addition is Hazel's Homestead, a spacious 3 bedroom home, newly renovated and now hosting guests. We invite you to unwind in Hazel’s chic Homestead; warm yourself up in front of the crackling fire on a cold evening. Cook yourself a meal in the roomy kitchen or order in, all while surfing all sky satellite channels available. Spacious and newly renovated, there’s more than enough room for the whole family to find their own place to relax. Filled with superior quality furnishings, modern décor, large fluffy towels... Hazel's Homestead is a perfect base.
Each residence is stand alone and can be booked individually, but there are many options for a variety of travellers to mix and match 2 or more accommodation optons to suit their travel needs. Or for a larger group who would prefer self contained accommodation all of the spaces on the property can be booked for a larger group of up to 16 people.
THE HOUSE OF HAZEL is nestled in Matamata, near the rolling green hills synonymous with the Waikato, 9mins from The Lord of The RIngs movie set tours, 1km to Matamata CBD and very central to many attractions in the region. Our residences are located in a private residential neighborhood, one of the most centrally located areas in the Waikato. Not far from main access points into and out of Matamata THE HOUSE OF HAZEL is so close to main tourist spots such as LOTR, the Blue Spring, Wairere Falls, the Kaimai Ranges, Te Aroha and it's new cycle ways. We are also central to supermarkets, corner stores, sports facilities, top class restaurants and amazing cafes for coffee and brunch.
